Bitė’s book club unites like-minded people who like to read, share their experiences and insights into completed books. During these meetings, books chosen by members and reviewed by critics are discussed. This club encourages people to read slowly and attentively, experience emotions rather than simply reading and soon forgetting the content. In this club, members develop a good taste for literature and a develop a need for discussion.

The club activities also include literature quizzes, meetings with interesting people, introduction to various educational programmes, traveling to places, which have a significant meaning to book lovers, and watching films based on books in the cinema.

Meetings of the club take place every other Tuesday at 17:15, in the library’s Arts Reading Room.
