Project presentation

The Ignalina‘s Public Library implements the international ERASMUS+ project  „EU Read&Art“  ,,The first European digital library of book trailers and adult creative expressions”. Project focuses on people at age 50 and above, but all readers or interested institutions who would like to recommend a book, contribute with voluntary and creative work can join the activities.

Activities are planned during the project

Within two years of the project‘s implementation it is planned to create online platform dedicated to the first digital library of book trailers. 500 trailers will be created and uploaded by the Lithuanian and other partner countries.

Project results

„EU-READ&ART” encourages to read and present read books in different perspective than usual – with short ad videos that express the impression of the book and so motivates others to read it. The project also includes various training lectures for involved specialists in order to help people create book trailers using digital art expressions.
