Senior’s club invites creative and active seniors to participate. While visiting the library in Cologne (Germany), our library’s employees were inspired by the idea to organise a leisure activity club for seniors, in which members themselves would become volunteers. Very often, seniors feel that they lose their social identity, which does not have to be the reality. Many years of work and life experience is a treasure worth sharing!

Topics and activities of meetings depend on the imagination of the volunteers. Organised activities may include a creative workshop, musical hours, lectures, discussions, quizzes, and readings of poetry. The purpose of the meetings is to help seniors meet and share their experience. We welcome all seniors to join and participate in activities of the club and share their unique talents and hobbies.

Meetings of the club take place every other Tuesday at 10:00, in the library’s cafe.
