On the 25–29th of September Panevėžys County Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library hosted a group of students and teachers from Palencia Adult Language School (Spain). The guests were visiting Lithuania with their Erasmus+ program. 2 teachers and 6 adult learners had a job shadowing visit in the library and were interested in the possibilities of informal adult language learning. The guests met with the library administration, participated in the English conversation class of library employees, took part in live and remote meetings of the “Let’s Talk” club, the Language Cafe session, visited Panevėžys City Municipality, and had a tour in Vilnius.
The participants of the visit were impressed by Lithuania, its nature and nice people. They thanked for the friendly and warm reception, the excellent organization of the visit, the opportunity to communicate with the library staff and local residents. According to the guests, Lithuania was a pleasant discovery for them, and classes in the library and communication with Lithuanians were an unforgettable experience.
